Customer Service Manager Jobs in Ontario

A Customer Service Manager oversees the customer service team and all customer service activities, ensuring that the team provides the highest level of customer satisfaction. Their responsibilities include developing customer service policies, managing and hiring team members, handling complaints, and analyzing customer service data to improve business operations. They interact directly with customers to address inquiries, resolve issues, or to provide assistance with products or services. They are also responsible for providing training and development for their team, and often collaborate with other departments to integrate customer service objectives throughout the organization.

Important skills for a Customer Service Manager include excellent communication and leadership abilities, problem-solving skills, the ability to handle stressful situations, and strong knowledge of customer service software and databases. Certifications in Customer Service Management, Leadership, or related fields are advantageous. A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field is often required. Some roles a person might hold before becoming a Customer Service Manager include Customer Service Representative, Customer Service Team Leader, or Customer Support Specialist.
