We are currently seeking highly motivated and enthusiastic Canvassers to join our growing team and help us connect with homeowners in the New Haven area.
About the Role:
As a Customer Service Representative for Alcraft Inc., you will be the friendly face of our company, responsible for generating new leads and setting appointments for our sales team. This is a vital, hands-on role that involves direct interaction with potential customers in targeted neighborhoods. Responsibilities:
Conduct door-to-door canvassing in designated residential areas.
Engage with homeowners in a friendly, professional, and persuasive manner.
Effectively communicate the benefits of Alcraft Inc.'s home improvement services.
Distribute marketing materials (brochures, flyers, etc.).
Identify potential customers and qualify leads based on established criteria.
Set appointments for our sales representatives to conduct in-home consultations.
Accurately record and report all canvassing activities and collected data.
Maintain a positive attitude and professional demeanor at all times.
Attend team meetings and training sessions as required.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous experience in sales, customer service, promotions, or canvassing is a plus, but not required (we provide comprehensive training!).
Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong ability to build rapport quickly and effectively.
Highly self-motivated, results-oriented, and persistent.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
Ability to walk and stand for extended periods.
Reliable transportation to and from designated canvassing areas.
