Detail-oriented Order Entry / Customer Service professional to join our Danbury, CT client. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity supporting a growing operation w accuracy, teamwork, and customer satisfaction are critical.

Schedule and Pay

Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

$20-$25 per hour, based on experience

Overtime available as business needs require

Role Overview

This position supports order entry for a wide range of industrial products, including both catalog items and large,plex equipment orders. The role focuses primarily on order processing and customer interaction for catalog customers, while larger, multi-million-dollar projects are handled by the sales and project management teams.

Key responsibilities

Accurately enter and process customer orders and returns using thepany ERP system

Serve as the primary point of contact for catalog-based B2B customers

Coordinate with internal Sales, Engineering, and Operations teams to ensure order accuracy

Review pricing, taxes, and order details to ensureplete and correct documentation

Maintainanized records and manage multiple orders simultaneously

What we are looking for -

Prior order entry or customer service experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred

Experience with any ERP system (Aptean Intuitive, SAP, or similar)

Strong data entry skills with high attention to detail

Ability to learn and retain extensive product information

Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Comfortable performing basic calculations, including taxes

Strongmunication skills and the ability to multitask under pressure

Pay Details: $20.00 to $25.00 per hour
