Compensation for the Customer Service Specialist

$18 - 19 per hour DOE

Monday through Friday, 8 am - 5 pm

Responsibilities of the Customer Service Specialist

Smoothly answer and operate phone system, communicating with customers in a professional manner.

Greet and assist walk-in customers or suppliers in a professional manner.

Perform data entry of delivery tickets, work orders and other account information as needed.

Perform various clerical functions, including copying, printing, filing, sending/receiving/distributing documents.

Assist in inventory management of products with month-end count, ordering, shipping and receiving to other plants and non-local customers.

Organize deliveries.

Accept and process payments.

Other duties as assigned.

Requirements of the Customer Service Specialist

3 years of recent telephone/receptionist or customer service experience.

Working knowledge of computers and Microsoft products, and the ability to learn new programs.

Willing to be on-call on a rotating schedule once fully trained.

Ability to lift 30-50 lbs.
