Kforce has a client that is seeking a Mortgage Call Center Representative in Birmingham, AL.

Summary:Our client is seeking a Mortgage Home Loan Direct Center Representative to join its Home Loan Direct Center team. This role is responsible for engaging existing and prospective customers through a combination of inbound and outbound phone calls to discuss mortgage financing needs, provide information regarding current loans, and identify opportunities for additional mortgage products and services.

The ideal candidate will have experience handling a high volume of phone calls, strong customer service and sales skills, and the ability to build rapport with customers while maintaining compliance with established guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Make a high volume of outbound calls to existing and prospective customers regarding mortgage financing opportunities
  • Handle inbound inquiries related to mortgage products and services
  • Contact customers who have submitted online mortgage applications to gather information and assess financing needs
  • Discuss current loan products and identify future mortgage financing opportunities
  • Generate qualified referrals and connect customers with Mortgage Loan Officers for further consultation
  • Meet or exceed productivity and referral goals
  • Utilize effective sales and relationship-building techniques to uncover customer needs
  • Provide exceptional customer service while adhering to all compliance, regulatory, and marketing requirements
  • Accurately document customer interactions and maintain required records
  • Manage approximately 100+ calls per day
  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams to support customer needs and business objectives* High School diploma or GED
  • Minimum six (6) months of experience in customer service, sales, banking, call center operations, or a related field
  • Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage a high volume of phone interactions throughout the day
  • Proficient computer and data-entry skills
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree
  • Mortgage industry experience
  • Banking or financial services experience
