Your responsibilities
As the Customer Service Support I (CSS I), you will assist customers with part identification, spare parts order processing, work order close out & invoicing. You will maintain the service database by entering & updating equipment warranties & other information. You will also assist in data collection, entry, and extraction of data from SAP.
- Candidates within reasonable driving distance of our Ladson SC headquarters are required to work in the office 1 day per week (currently Wednesdays)
- Provide timely and accurate part identification & delivery times to customer
- Process spare parts and consumable orders in SAP for customers
- Communicate with warehouse personnel to ensure accurate delivery methods and gather tracking information
- Administer RMAs for customers, invoice all spare part & consumable orders
- Assist customers and Finance in the resolution of billing and payment issues
- Communicate any consumable pricing discrepancies to team lead
- Initiate quotes for service work orders under service contracts, third-party vendors, and billable non-contract repairs
- Collect purchase orders for service orders, work closely with the purchasing department
- Research & annotate the closing of work orders associated with service contracts
- Adjust service billing where required, invoices all work orders
- Notify management of any issues, concerns, or customer satisfaction problems
Your profile
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 year of high volume inside sales/order entry experience
- Experience in high detailed work involving data entry and analytical skills
- Experience with SAP or another ERP system
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite with emphasis in Outlook, Excel, and Word
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- Demonstrated strong customer service skills via phone and email
- Exceptional organizational skills with high attention to detail
- Strong analytical/problem solving skills
- Able to work overtime where needed
