Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dependable individual to support our customer service team by helping with incoming customer communications. Initially, this role will focus on answering phones, acknowledging emails and online chats, taking messages, and routing inquiries to the appropriate team members.
As you become familiar with our products, services, and procedures, you will have opportunities to take on additional responsibilities, including assisting customers with order placement, order tracking, and answering basic product-related questions. Compensation and responsibilities will grow as your knowledge and contributions expand.
Responsibilities
Answer incoming phone calls, emails, and online chats in a professional and friendly manner.
Take accurate messages and route customer inquiries to the appropriate department or team member.
Assist team members by following up with customer inquiries upon request.
Maintain accurate customer records and communication notes.
Consistent and reliable attendance.
Assist with office support tasks during slower periods, including:
Updating spreadsheets
Assisting with direct mail and marketing campaigns
Filing and organizing documents
Data entry and other general office duties
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience with customer service communications.
Experience working in an office environment.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Basic arithmetic and computer proficiency.
Comfortable using multi-line phone systems, computers, email, online chat platforms, and web-based software.
Attention to detail and organizational skills.
Professional, positive attitude with a willingness to learn.
