Retail Cashier/Customer Service-Seasonal

Our summer seasonal positions help support our stores during the busy summer months. In this role, you'll greet customers with a friendly smile and ensure they receive exceptional service every time they visit. While you'll spend most of your day as a Cashier operating the register, there’s no shortage of variety-cleaning, stocking merchandise, receiving deliveries, and offering excellent customer service will keep you on your toes! As a store team member, you’ll enjoy awesome perks like $.20 off per gallon of fuel and 15% off most merchandise . $1.00 more per hour for overnight shifts (10 PM - 7 AM)

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Greet every customer with a smile, thank them for their business, and invite them to return.
• Provide a fast, friendly, and professional checkout experience at the cashier station.
• Suggest additional purchases to promote store specials and enhance the shopping experience.
• Accurately process sales and merchandise, offering customers available discounts and promotions, while following company policies and all applicable laws, including those related to alcohol and tobacco sales. Must be of legal age to sell and stock these products.
• Keep the store clean and organized, both inside and outside.
• Restock shelves, displays, and coolers as needed to ensure availability of products.
• Clean the fast-food area, equipment, and stock items as required.
• Follow proper sanitation and food handling/prep/storage/disposal procedures to maintain a safe environment.
• Label, rotate, and stock shelves, coolers, and displays properly.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to ensure smooth store operations.

• Our stores require flexible availability to support business needs for a 24/7 store including nights, holidays, and weekends.

• Must be 21 years old due to alcohol and tobacco sales (also includes onsite gambling Nevada locations).

• Must be able to stand for an extended period.
• While performing the duties of this job, frequently required to stand, walk, bend, and twist; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, or crouch; and talk and listen.
• Must frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 65 pounds.
• Work safely in work conditions that include heat, cold, allergen, noise, and fume/chemical/odor from gasoline and cleaning chemicals.

PAY: Starting at $17.50 - $18.50 an Hour.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Deliver a fast, accurate, and professional checkout experience.
• Promote current sales, specials, and suggestively sell to enhance customer experience.
• Process transactions accurately and responsibly, including alcohol and tobacco sales (must meet legal age requirements).
• Maintain cleanliness inside and outside the store, including fuel islands.
• Stock shelves, coolers, and displays with fresh and organized products.
• Assist in maintaining foodservice and coffee areas, including cleaning and restocking.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and labeling procedures.
• Support team members and complete additional duties as assigned.

Skills/Qualifications:

• Must be 21+ to meet legal age requirements for regulated product sales.
• Our stores require flexible availability for a 24/7 operation (including nights, weekends, and holidays)
• Previous retail, cashier, or customer service experience a plus, but not required.
• Strong communication skills and a friendly, helpful attitude.
• A commitment to delivering outstanding customer experiences.
• Ability to work as part of a team and take initiative independently.
• Quick thinking, adaptable, and dependable.
