Customer Service Representative / Returns Coordinator

Location: Onsite- Newark NJ

Schedule: Monday - Saturday | 12:00 PM - 8:30 PM

Pay Rate: $18.00/HOUR

Assignment Type: Ongoing Contract

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative / Returns Coordinator to join our operations team. In this role, you will help ensure a smooth return process for delivery teams while providing exceptional customer service and operational support.

This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment,municates effectively, staysanized under pressure, and enjoys problem-solving and supporting customers and operations teams.

Responsibilities

Operations & Returns Coordination

Receive and check in delivery teams as they return from their routes

Verify that all assigned pickups are returned and properly accounted for

Confirm all returned items are secured, protected, and correctly labeled

Escalate missing, damaged, or unprotected items followingpany procedures

Complete required documentation related to returned pickups and discrepancies

Monitor delivery route progress and provide updates as needed

Scan haul-away pods and verify stamps

Process delivery order changes and cancellations

Communicate effectively with operations, dispatch, leadership teams, and Costco MDO partners regarding pickups, returns, and exceptions

Customer Service Support

Assist customers, drivers, and business partners via phone and email

Handle customer concerns andplaints in a professional and calm manner

Diagnose, assess, and resolve customer and operational issues efficiently

Provide timely updates and maintain a positive customer experience

Serve as a knowledgeable point of contact for questions and support

Qualifications

Required

Experience using Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint

Strongmunication and customer service skills

Excellent multitasking andanizational abilities

Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Ability to remain professional under pressure

Preferred

High school diploma or equivalent

1+ year of customer service, logistics, dispatch, call center, or related experience

Experience working in transportation, warehouse, or delivery operations environments

The ideal candidate is reliable,anized, customer-focused, andfortable balancing operational responsibilities with customer support tasks. They are proactive, adaptable, and able tomunicate effectively across multiple teams while ensuring a smooth and efficient returns process.

Pay Details: $18.00 per hour
