Medical Customer Service Representative
Location: Norwood, OH (Hybrid)
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Position Overview
We are seeking a Medical Customer Service Representative to join a growing healthcare organization in the Norwood, OH area. This hybrid opportunity is ideal for someone with strong customer service skills and experience supporting patients with billing-related inquiries.
This role focuses on delivering a positive patient experience by assisting with billing questions and processing payments in a fast-paced, call center environment.
Key Responsibilities
Handle a high volume of inbound calls from patients regarding billing inquiries
Explain charges, balances, and insurance-related questions in a clear and professional manner
Collect patient payments and set up payment arrangements as needed
Document all interactions accurately in the system
Research and resolve patient account discrepancies
Provide excellent customer service while maintaining HIPAA compliance
Qualifications
1+ year of customer service experience (healthcare or call center preferred)
Experience handling patient billing inquiries or payments is a plus
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Comfortable working in a high-volume call environment
Basic computer skills and ability to navigate multiple systems
