Customer Support Specialist
Location: Northeast Austin area (Cameron/Dessau)
Position Type: Temp-to-Hire
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM (100% in-office)
Pay: DOE (Depending on Experience)
Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Customer Support Specialist to assist with escalation calls for a large internal client. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, SAP experience, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Respond to telephone, mail, or fax requests for new orders or service changes
Provide product, pricing, and delivery information to customers
Input and maintain customer order information, including purchase orders, sales orders, quotes, invoices, service orders, and work orders
Print reports and maintain accurate system records
Perform system inquiries regarding sales order and shipping status
Provide basic instruction regarding order and delivery status information
Generate sales order and shipping documents
Correct billing discrepancies and resolve terms and conditions issues with customers
Required Skills and Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of customer service experience
Experience handling escalation calls
SAP billing experience required
Basic math skills
Strong computer skills (Excel and Word)
Ability to organize and prioritize workload
Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
Additional Requirements
