About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and is located at the Tama Hills Golf Course, Tama Hills.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.

Qualifying Experience:

• Must have experience which provides basic knowledge and understanding of golf course operations including the rules of golf, directing flow of play before and during rounds of golf, and tournament organization.
• Must have the ability to communicate with great tact and diplomacy.
• Requires ability to read and write and successfully communicate in English.
• Must possess skill in dealing with the public.
• Position is a position of trust and must satisfactory complete a Tier 1 Backgroundcheck.
• Use of applicable uniform is required.

Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution in order to qualify.
