Customer Service Specialist - Supply Chain

Are you a highly organized problem-solver with experience in supply chain and logistics? Our client is looking for a Customer Service Representative to join their team in Richardson for a temporary, full-time position. You will be the central point of contact for their customers, handling inbound calls and emails, processing orders, and resolving any issues that arise. If you have a knack for multitasking in a fast-paced environment and a high-level of attention to detail, they want to talk to you. Experience with SAP or Salesforce and bilingual (Spanish) is strongly preferred.

salary: $25 - $30 per hour

work hours: 9:30 AM - 6:30 PM

Responsibilities

• Handle Inbound Customer Inquiries and Orders: Efficiently address customer questions and process orders received via phone and email. This includes verifying material numbers, quantities, and pricing.
  
  
• Resolve Order and Shipping Issues: Investigate and resolve problems such as pricing discrepancies, product information issues, and concealed damages. Submit credit and return requests as needed.
  
  
• Collaborate with Internal Teams: Work with departments like sales, accounting, and logistics to proactively resolve customer issues and ensure orders are fulfilled on time.
  
  
• Maintain Accurate Records: Keep detailed records of all customer interactions and order statuses within SAP and Salesforce, or similar systems.
  
  
• Manage High-Volume Workload: Thrive in a fast-paced environment by handling a large volume of phone calls and emails while multitasking effectively and maintaining high standards for accuracy and customer service.
