Job Overview:

The Bilingual Customer Service Specialist I is responsible for handling inbound customer calls regarding account questions and related matters. This role involves providing exceptional customer service while adhering to company policies and procedures. The position is part of a division that specializes in providing financing solutions for various industries, including technology, healthcare, hospitality, and more. The ideal candidate will contribute to delivering customized finance programs that add value to customers' businesses.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle inbound customer phone calls and resolve issues or concerns as needed.
  • Research customer accounts to gather pertinent information and address issues.
  • Determine the best methods to resolve problems to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Respond to billing inquiries and provide accurate information.
  • Verify payment histories and provide payoff quotes.
  • Coordinate problem resolution with appropriate departments.
  • Inform customers of standard procedures or resolutions to their problems.
  • Follow up, either verbally or in writing, to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Work under close supervision or within clearly defined procedures.
  • Track time and adhere to Fair Labor Standards Act requirements, including eligibility for overtime hours worked in excess of 40 per week.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • At least one (1) year of customer service experience.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Capability to learn additional systems as needed.
  • Strong teamwork skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).
  • Strong attention to detail and proofreading skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and work ethic.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to tasks.

Pay Range: $19 - $20
