Customer Service Representative

Monte Package Company, a Bunzl company, is seeking a Customer Service Representative for our location in Riverside, MI. The Customer Service Rep will answer inquiries on customer accounts, investigate any issues and find resolutions in a timely manner. They will serve as the liaison between the sales staff and the customer.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately enter and process customer orders in a timely manner
• Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email with professionalism and efficiency
• Obtain freight quotes and prepare Bills of Lading for outbound shipments
• Maintain and update Monte Package Company’s social media platforms
• Manage item data and implement price adjustments as needed
• Provide support to the Accounts Receivable team
• Monitor and track incoming and outgoing shipments
• Represent the company at trade shows and industry events as required
• Handle daily mail duties, including pickup and drop-off at the post office
• Assist with special projects and cross-functional initiatives as assigned

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; minimum of 2+ years of customer service experience
• Experience in produce packaging is a plus
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel within a Windows environment
• Familiarity with Microsoft Great Plains highly preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proven ability to multitask, solve problems, and make sound decisions
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service
• Bilingual in English and Spanish highly preferred
