The Role: We are seeking a motivated, hard-working self-starter to join our Customer Experience Team. The Customer Experience Representative will work independently and collaboratively to provide an exceptional customer experience to APPLIEDs current and potential customers. Delivering superior customer value is essential to our well-being. This person will collaborate closely with the Sales Team, Business Development Team and the Operations Team to develop long-term customer relationships. They will also support an assigned territory to manage customer's orders and inquires along with a focus on customer retention and growth. This is a remote position. Candidates living in EST. or CST. are highly preferred. Key Responsibilities:
- Stabilize, secure, and expand our existing accounts by providing an exceptional customer experience.
- Exceed customer expectations through proactive communication, determining unmet needs and providing uninterrupted service.
- Maintain and expand key information in APPLIEDs CRM database on all existing and prospective accounts, to include the documentation of customer conversations and new business developments.
- Provide current and prospective customer experience excellence: to include accurate and professional processing of requests for product, price, product literature, technical assistance, and other sales support activities as needed.
- Foster a team environment for continuous learning and growth opportunities.
- Troubleshoot issues, process customer complaints, and escalate issues with solution options.
- Be a key contributor to achieve annual growth objectives.
- Support and adhere to all safety procedures and complete all required safety training.
- Identify and support improvement opportunities for processes to support company objectives and customer expectations.
- Have a bias for action and like to take initiative.
- Are a team-player but also work well independently.
- Have the willingness to learn and are personally driven to succeed.
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position.
- Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery.
- Able to communicate information and ideas so others will understand.
- Bachelors or Associates degree preferred.
- Min. 1-3 years of experience in a customer facing role required.
- Are well-organized, process and data driven, logical thought-process, and the ability to make decisions and act on them.
- Have demonstrated excellence in verbal and written communication skills, including a strong phone presence, listening, and presentation skills with the ability to influence via phone.
- Ability to manage a large group of accounts, communicate at all levels within an organization, build and manage relationships, and demonstrate resilience and able to handle difficult situations with a positive can do attitude.
- Proven experience & ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Knowledge and practice of customer-focused selling processes, and negotiation skills.
- Strong computer skills with ability to learn new systems quickly and efficiently, proficient keyboard abilities, MS Office, Windows O/S, CRM Software, and social media tools.
