TEKsystems is currently supporting a client in NJ for a Customer Support Specialist. This role will be supporting customer account orders and product information to maintain a high quality customer experience. Applicants with a technical aptitude and customer support skills are encouraged to apply. Description: Accept new orders, reorders, or issues- majority of orders are over email Assist customers who ordered products with any questions, updates, follow ups Assisting customer with installing, operating and commissioning new products and troubleshooting parts/equipment issues over the phone Work with the engineering department to ensure communication in meeting customers' needs when issues are escalated. Work with production department to coordinate the release of orders, expediting, and checking for parts shortages and coordinating the arrival of purchased parts Work with inventory and purchasing departments coordinating the proper allocation and procurement of parts Edit orders accurately for input into SAP database and complete necessary documentation Qualifications: Customer Support exp. Technical knowledge highly preferred Order processing ERP experience Additional Details: - Schedule: Monday-Friday - Shift: 7am-4pm - Contract-to-hire opportunity - Fully on-site - Full benefits and 401K immediately upon starting - Ability to learn and grow with a dynamic team - Training will be in-office for 4-6 months, hybrid flexibility thereafter
