Medical Customer Service Specialist

Responsibilities

• Resolving billing issues, insurance claims, and other customer concerns in a timely and efficient manner.
• Scheduling, rescheduling, and managing appointments, ensuring accurate and timely scheduling.
  
  
• Providing exceptional customer service, demonstrating empathy and understanding, and maintaining a professional and positive attitude.
  
  
• Adhering to HIPAA regulations, ensuring patient confidentiality, and protecting sensitive information.
  
  
• Utilizing CRM systems to track customer interactions, manage appointments, and provide personalized service.
  
  
• Verifying insurance coverage, obtaining authorizations, and processing claims.
  
  
• Maintaining accurate patient records, ensuring proper documentation, and adhering to healthcare protocols.
  
  
• Managing and resolving conflicts effectively, de-escalating situations, and finding mutually acceptable solutions.
  
  

The essential functions of this role include:

working in a smoke free environment

working up to 4 hrs of overtime per week

Basic Computer Skills (1 year of experience is required)
