Residential Lending Post Closer - Delivery

Primary Responsibilities:

Responsible for reviewing and confirming the proper execution of the documents upon receipt of the signed closing/legal package and reviews and approves the satisfaction of any at closing or prior to funding conditions. Addresses and documents the overall performance of the company’s settlement agent for each transaction. Ensures documents are presented to the Investor per their requirements.

  1. Responsible for a complete understanding of legal, compliance, and investor requirements of residential mortgage products offered by Envision Bank. Audits each closing file to ensure the above referenced criteria and/or requirements have been met.

  2. Reviews tax and insurance information provided to ensure the correct type and amount of escrows

  3. Audits the executed Closing Disclosure to confirm net amount due, credits and fees meet the loan requirements. Reviews all at closing conditions to verify it meets Investor guidelines and is therefore satisfied.

  4. Upon receipt of the executed package, completes review of documents to ensure acceptable execution. Reviews all supporting documentation to confirm any at closing or prior to funding conditions have been adequately satisfied.

  5. Reviews executed collateral package and identifies any trailing documents outstanding or any errors that require correction. Documents all outstanding items and completes follow up with settlement agents until resolved. Addresses any issues/concerns with the performance of settlement agents through applicable reporting process to management.

  6. Ensures timely funding by Investor and follow up on any suspense items on a timely basis.

  7. Performs responsibilities in accordance with all applicable federal and state regulations, including but not limited to the Bank Secrecy Act, Equal Credit Opportunity Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act, Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act, Truth-in-Lending Act, Home Mortgage Disclosure Act, Community Reinvestment Act, and the Flood Disaster Protection Act.

  8. Demonstrates continual learning by attending industry seminars, webinars and other training programs. Insures licenses are properly maintained and continuing education credits (CEUs) are attained.


Position Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent and at least three (3) years residential lending experience required. This position requires attention to details and accuracy. Must communicate effectively with internal and external customers both verbally and in writing and demonstrate excellent phone skills. Must be organized and prioritize work independently and work within tight deadlines. The candidate in this position should be at ease with a computer and work well with numbers.
