Manager, Customer Service (Dalton, GA)Manager, Customer Service - Samples (Chatsworth, GA) The Manager, Customer Service will develop and implement strategic and tactical operational plans to ensure division and departmental goals are achieved. Individual is responsible for designing and implementing improved processes or operational policies for Customer Service. Manages overall workflow of the department and ensures that workflow processes facilitate effective and efficient use of corporate resources and enhance customer satisfaction. Monitors department performance; proactively identifies deficiencies and recommends changes, develops solutions, and implements action steps to resolve problems and ensure customer satisfaction. Reviews processes and procedures and proactively initiates activities to streamline process flow and enhance service turnaround time, productivity, and quality. Provides leadership and direction to a diverse staff that may include subordinate supervisors. Develop plans and schedules for the efficient and productive use of personnel and technology to ensure optimal service delivery; proactively, identifies, analyzes and monitors business requirements and enhancement possibilities; recommends viable solutions, modification and applications. Assume a leadership role in managing assigned projects; evaluate recommended projects to determine cost, benefits, feasibility and prepares recommendations for implementation. Assumes responsibilities of department during absence of Director. Assist with development of the annual budget to support the achievement of department/divisional goals. Maintain adequate control of resources to ensure on-going operations of the department within established budget, productivity and efficiency standards. Prepare composite staffing, financial, statistical and productivity reports for management reporting. Prepare information to explain or resolve discrepancies, variances, issues or customer complaints/feedback. Work with senior sales and marketing management teams to resolve service related issues and to develop new added value processes for customer base. Work with supervisors or other senior staff teams to develop, communicate, implement and monitor the maintenance, upgrade or modification of department equipment and software packages, policies, procedures and appropriate measures or standards to ensure that levels of support match or exceed field and customer requirements. Lead, motivate and coach individuals on the Customer Service team. Train, develop and identify employees' training and resource needs. Work with supervisory team(s) to ensure the timely and accurate processing and dissemination of information, performance assessments, incentives, rewards and/or recognition, counseling, corrective action and/or terminations. Ensure a current and historical library is maintained of all department /project activity, system implementations, modifications, policies, procedures and personnel actions.
